Their skilled staff is ready for any challenge that may arise along the way so you may have the ultimate reward - a healthy mare and foal. Their reproductive vets are board certified, American College of Theriogenologists (Equine Reproduction) Prior to breeding your mare, your vet should perform a comprehensive reproductive evaluation on her, including a detailed ultrasound examination of her reproductive tract to assess her potential fertility as a broodmare. Conditions
The mare is booked specifically by name. The booking is valid to the mare named and may not be transferred without the written consent of Westernesse Morgans. Cooled semen or direct insemination is available for both stallions. We do have a live foal guarantee for rebreeding the next season providing the booked stallion is available. If the booked stallion is not available, mare owner has option of using one of the other stallions we stand. If possible we encourage a minimum of one week notification prior to shipment so that arrangements can be made to transport the stallion to the breeding farm. There will be some days when a stallion might not be available due to showing. We will notify mare owners of such dates so that collections can be scheduled without conflict. We request that your veterinarian contact Wisconsin Equine Clinic well in advance of shipment to advise of possible dates and where to send semen. That way when your vet contacts Irongate for a collection, all the information is already on file. You will need to set up an account for your mare with Wisconsin Equine prior to shipment.
